Racial Healing
In 2020, Marcelle joined the newly founded New Encounters: Catholics Confronting Racism as a Co-facilitator and Director of Communications. Since 2020, New Encounters has worked with hundreds of Catholics seeking formation in becoming antiracist Christians.

Since 2021, Marcelle has been a member of the Archbishop’s Commission for Racial Healing in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and currently serves as the Commission’s co-chair. The Commission’s task is promoting cross-cultural encounter and dialogue in order to identify the wounds of racial injustice in the Catholic Church and then work to heal them. Producing
In 2020, Marcelle co-founded Prismatic Arts Ensemble, with baritone Matthew Maisano, and pianist Mark Loria. Their mission is to meld art song recital and immersive theatre, creating new ways for modern audiences to experience classical song literature.
